Once the youngest-ever lottery winner, a lad who bagged himself an eye-watering £30million lottery jackpot launched a women’s wrestling show where he was the main attraction.
Just 19 at the time and now known as Jonathan Vargas or JV Rich, he hit the big time back on May 17, 2008, when he won the S.C. Education Lottery Powerball Jackpot. He stole the title of the youngest winner ever and being the first from South Carolina, US, to clinch the prize.
Choosing to grab a lump sum of £14million instead of waiting for the full amount, the former construction worker splashed all the cash in becoming a combo of a media tycoon and reality TV sensation.

He didn’t just stop at playing a Hugh Hefner-type bossman in his own pad surrounded by women with minimal clothing, Jonathan also embarked on a television quest seeking ‘the one’, charming 20 lasses in fortnight.
Teasing the TV trailer, it was revealed that Jonathan had been planning to get hitched to his girlfriend but chose to challenge their romance, leaving room to stumble upon someone even more compatible. He dished out: “When I won this money, I never planned on getting married, ever. I was like eff that. Then I met Shana. I knew she was the one, we hit it off, she’s been with me ever since. At one point I did wonder if she was with me for the money.”
Full of hope, he added: “Yeah I wanna find true love and I’m willing to do whatever it takes.” And shedding light on his reaction when he first eyed the 20 beauties, he quipped: “The door opens, all I see is [backsides] everywhere, everywhere.”
Jonny V went on to live it up in a new project, Wrestlicious Takedown, where he was the ultimate baller surrounded by bombshell babes. Dropping bars with wrestling divas, he rhymes: “I’m JV Rich and I own the show, I got the ring, I got the bling, I got the dough. I have with the ladies that nobody disses, cause all my girls are Wrestlicious.”
Teaming up with ex-wrestling big shot Johnny Cafarella, Jonny V saw his dreams crash and burn when Wrestlicious Takedown fizzled out after just one season of bodyslamming babes.
Despite whispers of a secret stash of Season 2 footage back in 2011, it stayed under wraps, and the lotto legend has been dodging the limelight ever since following the show’s nightmare reviews.
