The Prince and Princess of Wales will not be attending the pre-Christmas lunch at Buckingham Palace today.
Prince William and Kate are instead said to be looking forward to spending time with the family as usual at the Sandringham estate over Christmas.
MailOnline understands the family are already in Norfolk and always planned to be.
