Revellers have been pictured soaking up the festive atmosphere as they head out for office Christmas parties ahead of ‘Mad Friday’.
Swigging from open bottles of prosecco on the streets of Leeds, Brits were seen packing out pubs last night.
A variety of outfits – including elf costumes and fake Santa beards – were also on display.
The festive cheer comes ahead of ‘Mad Friday’, the last Friday before Christmas where many revellers celebrate with one too many drinks.
The day has become so notorious, however, that it has even earned the nickname ‘Black Eye Friday’.
It is known as being one of the NHS‘s busiest days of the year for treating alcohol-related illness and injury.
