Tyson Fury and Oleksandr Usyk will reignite their rivalry inside the ring on Saturday night when the two boxing heavyweights face off for the second time this year.

Back in May, it was Usyk who prevailed, with the Ukrainian beating Fury via split decision 115-112, 113-114, 114-113, handing the latter the first defeat of his professional career. Come Saturday night, Fury will be out for revenge when the pair face off in the Kingdom Arena in Riyadh.

Right now, Usyk looks to have edged it as the bookies betting favourite ahead of Fury, thanks in part to his showing back in May. So in an effort to try and predict how the Saudi bout, dubbed Usyk v Fury 2: Reignited, Daily Star Sport turned to AI chatbot ChatGPT to see how the fight between the two heavyweights would pan out.

The first round of 12 has been predicted to be one where the two feel each other out, with both Fury and Usyk set to start cautiously, gauging one another’s movement. ChatGPT reckons Fury won’t look to land any big shots, while Usyk will be primarily focused on using his movement to probe for openings in the formers defence.

Rounds two, three and four will begin to see the two fighters make adjustments, with Fury becoming increasingly aggressive, trying to win with straight power against Usyk.

The AI chatbot reckons Usyk won’t be overwhelmed by the Gypsy King, instead landing combinations to keep his opponent honest as the fight enters the middle rounds.

By round five, it predicts the fight will be a close and competitive one, with “Fury’s aggression and Usyk’s counterpunching creating a back-and-forth dynamic” between the two. However, while neither lad a decisive blow, it adds Usyk’s volume of punches may give him the edge, especially with the fight likely to go the distance.

Fury wins round six and then delivers a huge blow to Usyk in the seventh according to ChatGPT, with the former looking to end the fight then and there. However, Usyk recovers, evading the onslaught to continue the fight, regaining control in the eighth round.

By round nine, exhaustion will set in with Fury now noticeably slower following his mid-round flurry. Usyk remains composed, continuing to land combinations.

With the final round edging closer, rounds 10 and 11 will see Fury look to assert his dominance to try over Usyk by landing power shots, only for Usyk to use his “ring IQ to neutralise” the Gypsy King.

And come round 12, the AI chatbot predicts Usyk will win via split decision once again, in a controversial decision that will hand Fury the second defeat of his professional career, something which will likely end any talk of a third fight decider between the two heavyweights, but leave the Gypsy King with plenty to complain about.
