Paris Fury was unable to hide her disappointment as she reacted to her husband Tyson Fury‘s defeat to Oleksandr Usyk at the Kingdom Arena in Riyadh on Saturday.

The mother-of-seven, 35, travelled to Saudi Arabia for the fight, seven months on from their first bout, which saw the Ukrainian, 37, inflict the Gypsy King’s first defeat of his professional career.

The boxer, 36, claimed earlier this week he had not spoken to his wife or their children for three months as he locked himself away for his training camp this time round in order to stay focused on the fight.

But after his dedication failed to pay off, Paris could be seen reacting with dismay as Tyson suffered a second consecutive loss to Oleksandr.

The Internet personality looked tense as she stood in the stands waiting for the results, beginning to smile and clap in encouragement as the announcer spoke to the crowd, mouthing ‘Tyson’.

However, her smile quickly became a frown as the judges scored the clash 116-112 in favour of Oleksandr, and she visibly shook her head in disappointment.

Tyson was also left perplexed by the result and seemingly demanded to see the scorecards after they were read out.

As he stormed out of the ring without conducting a post-fight interview, he was comforted by Paris.

She stood by her crestfallen husband’s side as the pair made their way back to his dressing room.

Tyson’s aim during the rematch was to claim the unified heavyweight titles, after Oleksandr won a split decision in May to become the division’s first undisputed champion in 24 years.

But now Oleksandr still defends the gold against the Gypsy King as he outpointed the boxer for a second time to retain his heavyweight title.

Paris’ crestfallen reaction comes after she addressed Tyson’s claims he cut himself off from his family for three months as he locked himself away for his training camp in the run-up to the rematch.

Speaking about his training camp before the clash, Tyson told TNT Sports presenter Dev Sahni: ‘It’s been a long camp. Been away from my wife and kids for three months, I’ve not spoken to Paris at all for three months, not one word. Yeah, I’ve sacrificed a lot.’

Speaking to IFLtv, Paris opened up on the situation, explaining: ‘It is true. After the last fight, everything that went on personally in our lives and Tyson had the outcome of last time, he decided this on his own and I had to support him.

‘He didn’t want tot be involved in family life, he has cut himself off for the last few months, put himself in a serious condition and he looks very determined.

‘If it is what needed to be then God willing tomorrow night it will all come out and all be good and be worth while.’

She admitted: ‘It has been very difficult, I can’t lie. I supported him in the decision, but it is not the greatest thing to not talk to your husband for a long time.

‘But I am looking at him, it was the first time I saw him yesterday, we still haven’t spoken. I was sat 10 foot away from him and we have barely made eye contact but I can see, I think in my heart, it has paid off.’

The last time Tyson was away training, Paris suffered a tragic miscarriage and on the eve of his fight against Oleksandr in May, she selflessly endured the agony of having to ‘give birth to a dead child’ alone, so that the boxer could focus on his bout.

He ultimately lost the fight, relinquishing his WBC world heavyweight title to the Ukrainian boxer, before returning home to England and realising his worst fears had been confirmed.

Tyson told The Mirror: ‘When she said she couldn’t come over [to Riyadh], I knew there was a problem. She usually comes out on fight week but she said she had high blood pressure’.

He added that [Saudi boxing chief] Turki Alalshikh offered to take them in a private jet and said he would bring the doctor with her.

He explained: ‘She said she couldn’t come and I asked her what was up and asked her to tell me but she wouldn’t.

‘So I knew, I knew there was a problem. I said to my brother, “She’s lost that baby’. She never told me she had lost the baby, but I knew.’

Tyson added that he ‘wasn’t making excuses’ but his wife had to ‘physically give birth to a dead child’ while he was in a foreign country.

He said: ‘I have been with the woman for longer than I wasn’t with her, so it is hard that I couldn’t be there with her in that time. When I got back I got the inevitable confirmation that it was gone but she kept it to herself.’

Tyson and Paris have seven children together – three daughters and four sons from the ages of one to 15 years old.

The couple welcomed their first child, Venezuela Fury, in 2009, before their first son Prince John James was born in 2011.

They then welcomed Prince Tyson Fury II in 2016, Valencia Amber the following year and Prince Adonic Amaziah in 2019.

Youngest daughter Athena arrived in 2021, while they welcomed their latest bundle of joy to the clan, Prince Rico, in September last year.
