Primark shoppers can get money off with a little-known trick, but there’s a catch.

Many people who shop regularly in store could save a small fortune with this hack. Some employers offer their staff benefits through a scheme known as Salary Extras.

There, workers can buy gift cards for various stores at a discounted rate. High Street names include Currys, Asda, Argos and many more.

Among them is Primark, which offers people a generous 9% off. It might not sound like much but it means people could save £9 for every £100 they spend. That could go a long way for those who find themselves shopping there regularly.

“The platform has flexibility at its core and can grow with your business to ensure it consistently meets our needs to help you attract, retain and engage top talent.

“Employee benefit scheme options, include: financial wellbeing; health and wellbeing; lifestyle and discounts; salary sacrifice schemes; and workplace benefits and commuting.”

It’s best to check with your employers whether they have opted into the scheme.
