A lip reader claims that Prince Louis said a sweet comment to Kate, Princess of Wales during a teaser clip of her annual Christmas carol concert, which is airing tonight
Prince Louis said a touching comment to his mum, the Princess of Wales, during her annual Christmas carol concert according to a lip reader’s claims.
It comes as Kate hosted the annual event at Westminster Abbey on December 6, after a particularly difficult year for the royal family. Prince Louis’ charming comment was picked up on by a lip-reader in a teaser video, shared on The Prince and Princess of Wales ‘ Instagram.
The video shared several clips from the service head of it being aired on ITV1 at 7.30pm on Christmas Eve. A number of fellow royals attended to show their support for the Princess, including Kate’s three children Prince George 11, Princess Charlotte, 9, and Prince Louis.
At the time, the Princess of Wales shared how love and empathy should go beyond Christmas, and spoke of the importance of kindness and forgiveness. In the video, Kate is seen looking down at six-year-old Prince Louis and smiles.
Then, he tells her that “we’re looking out for each other”, according to lip reader Nicola Hickling, The Sun reported.
The lip-reader’s claims come after Prince William described 2024 as “hardest year in my life” as the family faced a series of hardships, including Prince Charles’ cancer diagnosis, and Princess Kate’s shock cancer announcement.
A touching interaction at the end of the teaser sees Kate smiling lovingly at Louis as he shares a reassuring message.
She adds that love and empathy – the themes of this year’s event – should extend beyond the festive period, and promotes kindness and forgiveness, the Mirror reported.
