The reality TV star chugged too many beers following his traitors win, tipping the scales at 16 stone at his heaviest – ‘Being invited to all these events, I drank as many free Coronas as I could’
Traitors champ Harry Clark has revealed how he ballooned to more than 16 stone after supping too many free beers since winning the show.
The 24-year-old confessed that he tipped the scales at 104kg – just under 16st 4lbs – in August this year after “downing too many Coronas”. Harry – who was a Lance Corporal in the Army when he won the £95,150 prize in January this year – said he had gone on a health kick and was now down to around 13st.
Speaking today (Friday, December 27), Harry said he and his partner, social influencer Anna Maynard, had been hitting the gym hard since August, when he realised that he’d piled on too many pounds.
He said: “As a council estate kid, being invited to all these events, I drank as many free Coronas as I could.”
He told the T2 supplement in The Times today he had ‘gone from 104kg to 85kg’ since August.
Writing on Instagram earlier this month, he said: “People always say to me they swear I never needed to loose (sic) weight before.
“However the proof is in the pudding, I was a chubby bunny?”
He added that one photo showed him at his chubbiest in August this year, and another showed him ‘buff’ at around 85kg at the start of this month.
Meanwhile, the show’s Finnish spin off delayed the air date of the finale after one of the contestants was murdered by a spurned lover.
Contestnat Janne Puhakka was allegedly killed by a shotgun. The 29-year-old ex-ice hockey star was found shot dead at his home in Espoo, which is close to Helsinki.
According to Finnish publication Yle Urheilu, Puhakka’s ex-partner Rolf Nordmo, 66, admitted killing him with a shotgun after their recent split. Puhakka had been appearing in The Traitors’ second run on Nelonen, hosted by Christoffer Strandberg, and had remained in the game leading up to the final episode.
