Vegas Cybertruck bomber Matthew Livelsberger’s vile marriage secrets and techniques revealed

Cybertruck suicide bomber Matthew Livelsberger was ‘unstable, misogynistic’ and emotionally ‘abusive’ to his first wife, says a pal of the active-duty Green Beret’s ex.

‘I never considered him stable or solid,’ Stacie Wilssens, a close friend of the active-duty Green Beret’s now ex-wife, Sara, told DailyMail.com.

‘I always felt like he was intimidated by Sara’s strength and beauty and whatnot. He was kind of insecure, and she was not in a great place in life, and he was not supportive of her … getting happy and healthy.’

Wilssens became close friends with Livelsberger’s first wife, when Sara and Matthew Livelsberger lived in Colorado Springs. She told DailyMail.com she first encountered her friend’s then-husband around 2014.

He and Sara had known each other during high school in Ohio and reconnected later in life, ultimately marrying, Wilssens said – but she’d never approved of the way Livelsberger treated his wife.

Wilssens, a retired psychiatric treatment center nurse, said Livelsberger ‘didn’t like Sara being close to anybody, and he didn’t support her in anything.’

They were also on opposite sides of the political spectrum.

Both Wilssens and Sara Livelsberger nee Wilson held more liberal political views; Sara ‘campaigned for Bernie [Sanders] and then she worked for the Hillary [Clinton] campaign.’

Livelsberger, meanwhile, ‘was an avid Trump supporter … so we were both on opposite sides on all that,’ she said.

‘Doing it in front of a Trump hotel is a wrench that I don’t really understand, because I know he’s a Trump supporter,’ Wilssens said.

Wilssens told DailyMail.com she’d blocked Livelsberger ‘years ago’ and that the couple had divorced in 2018. His first wife remarried and now lives out of state with her new family and child.

Sara divorcing him and leaving was the best thing that she could have done,’ Wilssens said.

Given her personal experience of Livelsberger, Wilssens said she was more likely to believe personal issues, rather than a political ideology, had brought Livelsberger to Vegas.

‘I never considered him a stable, solid person … I never thought something like this, but clearly I would imagine that there are issues in his new relationship, and he just decompensated.’

All indications point to Livelsberger undeniably having personal problems. Following the demise of his first marriage, he dated Alicia Arritt.

Following the relationship with Arritt, Livelsberger married Jennifer Davis.

She is said to have left him shortly before the recent birth of their child over fears he was cheating on her.

Livelsberger also got back in touch with Arritt just before his death, surprising her.

The Tesla Cybertruck that Livelsberger blew up outside the Trump Vegas hotel on Wednesday, with the Green Beret still inside

Police found credit cards, his passport and military ID on him, but they are still referring to him as a person of interest as they await DNA confirmation

He texted his ex Sunday after renting the Cybertruck he’d later kill himself inside, writing: ‘I rented a Tesla Cybertruck. It’s the s***.’

‘I feel like Batman or halo,’ he later texted, while sharing photos and videos of the futuristic vehicle.

Davis’s Facebook profile lists her address as Germany, but police and agents raided this week raided another Colorado Springs address where the couple were listed together.

On Thursday, Colorado police revealed that Livelsberger had shot himself in the head shortly before blowing up the Cybertruck.

He’d hired the vehicle from Turo, an app which lets users rent strangers’ cars in a similar manner to Airbnb and filled it with explosives.

The sturdy construction of the $80,000 SUV meant that the Trump hotel escaped undamaged despite the force of the blast, although seven people were injured.

No motive for the atrocity has been given. Livelsberger has been described as a ‘Rambo type’ soldier awarded five Bronze Stars for his service.

His fellow Green Berets are said to be mystified by the killing. His uncle Dean Livelsberger said Livelsberger was a Trump supporter.

Dean insisted that the bomber had not intended t hurt anyone with the blast, because he’d have had the skills to pull off a far worse atrocity if he’d wanted to.

The Ford F-150 Lighting used by Shamsud Din Jabbar to murder 14 people in New Orleans on New Year’s Day. Cops have insisted there are no links between that attack and the Vegas bombing despite multiple eerie similarities between them and their perpetrators

Jabbar was a thrice-divorced former soldier and realtor who was shot dead by police after Wednesday’s atrocity.

Wednesday’s explosion happened just hours after Shamsud Din Jabbar mowed down and killed 14 with an ultra-fast Ford F-150 Lighting EV in New Orleans.

Din Jabbar’s victims were celebrating New Year’s in the Big Easy’s famous French Quarter.

After crashing his rented truck, he opened fire with a rifle and injured two police officers, before being shot dead.

Din Jabbar was also a military vet. The EV he’d rented – also off Turo – had been fitted with an ISIS flag ahead of the atrocity.

Both he and Livelsberger had served at Fort Liberty, formerly known as Fort Bragg, in North Carolina.

Their time there overlapped slightly.

Investigators say there are still no signs the two attacks were linked.

That is despite both perpetrators serving at the same base during the same time and using the same ride-share app to hire an EV for their respective outrages.
