Kerry Katona’s on-line trend enterprise ‘formally shut down’- in recent blow after spending first Christmas with out ex-fiancé Ryan Mahoney

Kerry Katona‘s online clothing boutique has reportedly shut down and been struck off the register at Companies House.

The former Atomic Kitten star, 44, launched the business, called Kerry’s Boutique, back in 2020 and it quickly became a big success.

However, according to new documents filed to Companies House, the business was dissolved ‘via compulsory strike-off’ on Christmas Eve.

The document details the ‘strike-off date of the company’ as December 17 and the dissolution date of the company as December 24.

A representative for Kerry reportedly told The Sun: ‘Kerry didn’t have time in her schedule to run Kerry’s Boutique. Anything related to the closing down of the company is her business partner’s responsibility and nothing to do with Kerry.’

MailOnline has contacted representatives for Kerry for comment.

It comes as a fresh blow for the star, who has just spent her first Christmas without her ex fiancé Ryan Mahoney

Before this, on November 12, the compulsory strike-off action was ‘temporarily suspended’ with a document revealing that an ‘objection to the striking off was received by the Registrar.’

In October, the business received a warning that Kerry’s brand’s assets could be seized by the taxman as they stated that the business’ latest accounts were overdue.

The brand was first ssued with a First Gazette which notified Kerry that steps were in place to potentially strike off the business from the register.

The document, filed on October 8, read: ‘The Registrar of Companies gives notice that, unless cause is shown to the contrary, the Company will be struck off the register and dissolved not less than two months from the date shown above.

‘Upon the Company’s dissolution, all property and rights vested in, or held in trust for, the Company are deemed to be bona vacantia, and will belong to the Crown.’

The company’s social media has been inactive in recent months, too, with no Instagram posts for 25 weeks.

It comes as a fresh blow for the star, who has just spent her first Christmas without her ex fiancé Ryan Mahoney.

The singer parted ways with her partner, 36, in November after six years together and the star has been left devastated.

Since the split, she has been focusing on playing the wicked step-sister alongside Katie Price in a production of Cinderella in Cheshire.

Kerry spent Christmas Day with her kids, Molly, 21, Lilly-Sue, 20, Heidi, 16, Max, 14, and eight-year-old DJ, as well as pal and panto co-star Katie Price and her son Harvey.

It comes after Kerry shared an emotional message with fans as she reflected on a tough year following her split from Ryan.

Looking tearful, the former Atomic Kitten singer said: ‘Things seem to be getting crazier and crazier.

‘The main thing is I have amazing children, I have my health and I have the most wonderful and surprising friends around me for support.

‘I never thought 2024 would’ve ended like this. Never. But there you go.’

Friends and fans rushed to comment on Kerry’s post, with Katie Price writing: ‘You have got this and I’m by your side everyday in every way.’

Kerry also recently revealed she’s set to kick off her New Year with another bout of cosmetic surgery as she plans a lower facelift.

The former Atomic Kitten star told how she’s ‘nervous’ for the procedure, but has turned to her surgery-obsessed pal Katie Price for guidance and ‘moral support’.

Katie, 46, has long been known for her love of going under the knife and has had numerous procedures over the years including facelifts, breast enhancements, rhinoplasty.

Kerry also recently revealed she’s set to kick off her New Year with another bout of cosmetic surgery as she plans a lower facelift

Opening up about her upcoming plans, Kerry explained: ‘I’ve got my lower facelift coming up in January, which I’m excited about – but I’m also so nervous’ [pictured in January]

The star is no stranger to going under the knife and has previously had a tummy tuck in 2021, another operation on her stomach in 2023 (pictured right before surgery in January 2023)

So it’s little wonder Kerry has leaned on her friend for support, with the star remarking in her latest new! magazine column that she’s ‘excited’ for the surgery.

Opening up about her upcoming plans, Kerry explained: ‘I’ve got my lower facelift coming up in January, which I’m excited about – but I’m also so nervous

‘I always get really nervous when it comes to anything being done to my face, but I know it will be worth it.’

On her pal’s help, she continued: ‘Katie is going to come to stay with me when I get it done for moral support, which I really appreciate.

‘She’d had the procedure done before, so she knows what I’ll be going through and will be able to ease my nerves and anxiety, while helping during my recovery too.’

She added: ‘Katie is in such a good headspace right now and it’s amazing to see, I’m so proud of her. She has been a real pillar of support for me these past few months.’

A lower facelift, known as a jowl lift is a procedure ‘designed to reduce loose skin around the lower half of the face (mainly the jowls) and neck’, according to the NHS, and is designed to address the signs of aging.

Kerry and Katie first formed a close friendship back in 2024, when they appeared on the third series of I’m A Celebrity, with Katie finishing in fifth place while Kerry won the show.
