A deadly wildfire is ripping through Pacific Palisades, triggering the evacuation of its 20,000 residents and forcing panicked Californians to ditch their cars in the middle of the road as they’re forced to leave.
Authorities has issued an ‘immediate’ evacuation order for Pacific Palisades, urging residents to ‘LEAVE NOW.’
The evacuation notice has caused a gridlock on Sunset Boulevard as LA residents flee, leaving behind their mansions as the 200-acre fire quickly scorches the ground around them.
Some schools in Brentwood are also being evacuated.
‘Do not stand in the way of this first,’ Firefighter David Ortiz said. ‘This is pretty much the worst possible scenario for a firefight.’
X user, Jonathan Vigliotti posted a video of a car burning uncontrollably in a driveway.
‘Come on, guys!’ he called, his voice filled with fear. ‘We got to go!’
Others were seen quickly evacuated the area as the fire continues to grow.

The 200-acre bush fire was first reported around 10:30am on Tuesday and authorities have described the flames as a blowtorch
Southern California Edison (SCE) shut off power to Cuthbert, Galahad, and parts of Malibu on Tuesday due to ‘dangerous fire weather,’ an alert said.
The company expected the power to be out for at least eight hours and it could be longer if crews need daylight to visibly inspect power lines and equipment. The inspection is required before SCE will restore power.
Roughly 10,000 are without power, with 5,600 or those provided by SCE, according to poweroutage.us.

Police Academy star Steve Guttenberg said the fire is near his home and that people are abandoning their cars and making it hard for firetruck to make it up the road.

Guttenberg is urging his fellow neighbors to leave their keys in their car if they’re leaving their vehicle behind ‘so guys like me can move your car.’
‘We really need people to move their cars,’ he told KTLA. ‘So if you leave your car on Palisades Drive, leave the key in there.’
The actor said he had friends who can’t get out of their homes due to vehicles left behind.
Cars in the area have been seen on fire as Pacific Palisades is taken over by smoke and flames.
An X user, Jonathan Vigliotti, posted a video showing raining come down as a car raged with fire outside a home.
