Labour deletes obscene TikTok after viewers’ uproar over translated lyrics

Labour has apologised and deleted a video it posted on TikTok with obscene lyrics that referenced punching the genitals of a “naughty young girl”.

The bizarre clip, which adapted a viral social media trend, used AI-generated animals wearing human clothes to celebrate the new government’s plan to change Britain for the better. But viewers quickly pointed out the rude lyrics, which are in Portuguese in the clip.

Translations of the lyrics include the singer describing smoking marijuana and having sex with a “b****”. The lyrics to Montagem Coral, DJ Holanda, urge a “naughty young girl” to “sit” on the singer’s “pot-crazy d***”. It then repeats the line at the end: “Just a punch in the young girl’s p***y.”

The singer adds: “Perfect combination is sex, beer and marijuana… The young girls are addicted.”

The weird video begins with a muscular lion walking on two legs wearing a suit, before switching to a bulldog wearing a police vest and hat to mark Labour’s pledge to put more police on the beat. Next, a bunny dressed as a nurse pops up to mark the party’s promise that patients will be seen sooner by the NHS.

A badger then stands at a train station as a caption explains Labour’s promise to improve rail services by bringing railways back into public control, before an owl wearing a waistcoat celebrates the government’s pledge to introduce free breakfast clubs for school kids.

And a hedgehog wearing dungarees walking beside a wind turbine symbolises Labour’s policy to secure home-green energy, while a bull wearing construction worker’s clothes, including a high-vis jacket and a hard hat, stands with his thumbs up to mark Labour’s promise to create decent and affordable homes for British families.

A Labour spokesman said: “The post is an adaptation of a viral social media trend and contains a mix of two music tracks. We acknowledge the translation of the lyrics are completely inappropriate. We apologise and the video has now been deleted.”

Tory MP and shadow safeguarding minister Alicia Kearns said: “There are consequences for desperately trying to look cool on an app weaponised against our own people.

“It is right they apologise for this gross and vulgar politics, which resulted in the promotion of a song about plying girls with drugs to sleep with and abuse them. The days of statesmanlike communications from Labour appears to be dead.”
