Christopher Rogers has gone viral as a lookalike for darts world champion Luke Littler, with some suggesting he could earn serious cash if he walked round in a ‘Luke the Nuke’ shirt with a dartboard under his arm

Luke Littler might be world champion, a household name at just 17-years-old and favourite for this year’s SPOTY already, but you know ‘The Nuke’ has really made it because he now has his own lookalike.
Christopher Roger, 33, is a darts fan and when his partner Sarah Marshall, 31, posted a video of him online, viewers could have easily mistaken him for the world No.2 who has made arrows great again.
So much so, that Roger’s mates are even asking him how he’s going to spend his whopping £500,000 prize money after lifting the world crown against Michael van Gerwen at Alexandra Palace earlier this month.
Roger sat watching the two-time PDC World Championship finalist before his third-round tie on December 29, and Marshall casually panned round to her partner who shares a remarkably similar side profile.
She joked, ‘How is Luke Littler on my TV and sat in my living room?’ as Christopher – who doesn’t really see the resemblance – shook his head.
The video has since racked up over three million views and more than 250,000 likes, with many also seeing the similarities. Sarah, an operational support manager, from Bradford, West Yorkshire, said: “When Littler was in the final last year I thought he looked like him.
“No one had ever said he looks like Littler but my mum used to say he looked a little like Gerwyn Price. He pulls the same expressions as Luke as well.
“Christopher used to play rugby and his walk off the pitch is exactly the same as and when Luke’s walking back from his darts – the similarities are there. They’ve got a similar hairstyle too. When he shakes his head, it’s so similar.
“His family can’t believe how much it’s gone viral – he doesn’t see the similarity at all.”
Littler made history when he became the youngest darts world champ at just 17 last Friday. And mechanic Roger says he’s now become the brunt of the joke at work following Littler’s win.
He said: “People at work have been making comments like, ‘Well done Luke,’ and, ‘What you spending your winnings on?’.
“From the front on I don’t see it, but from how I was sat and my hair I guess I looked a bit like him. But only in the looks, I’m dreadful at darts – I hit the wall more than the dartboard!
“We were watching it every night so she’s been seeing the resemblance more and more. My partner mentioned before the video that she saw the resemblance.”
Strangers on social media also chimed in on the joke. One user said that Littler had, ‘recorded it so he could watch it at home,’ while another said: “He’s Luke Littler off Wowcher.”
A third commented: “I think if you got him a Luke Littler shirt and some darts he can make some serious £££ as a lookalike.”
