Meghan offers followers essentially the most revealing glimpse of her kids’s lives but as Archie’s American twang, Lili’s lengthy hair and lovable singing function in emotional tribute to household canine Guy

Meghan Markle has revealed the most intimate glimpse yet of Archie and Lilibet in an emotional tribute video to the duchess’s late Beagle.

The Duchess of Sussex, 43, shared a tribute video to Guy, who recently passed away, on social media on Tuesday.

Archie’s American accent was heard in the video montage, which contained rare glimpses into the Sussexes’ family life in Montecito, as well as a tender moment of the royal children singing to the beloved pooch.

At one point viewers hear the five year old say ‘he might fall’ in a strong Californian accent, during a car journey with Guy.

Meghan replies: ‘He’s not going to fall, don’t worry, mamma has got him but thank you for being such a good boy.’

The closing clip features a deeply intimate family moment as Meghan appears to teach her children about grief as the trio sing a song – seemingly led by little Archie – which goes: ‘We love you Guy! And we’ll be true, when you’re not near us, we’re blue!’

Meanwhile in another adorable moment Prince Harry is spotted with a young Archie as they walk Guy around some stables, before they stop to pet the horses.

Meghan also included footage of an adorable picnic she enjoyed with Lilbet and the two pooches.

Lilibet can be seen running away from the camera, showcasing her beautiful long red locks.

Royal fans were sent into a frenzy and took to X, formerly known Twitter, after hearing the audio of the young children.

One person wrote: ‘Omg Prince Archie and Princess Lilibet are so cute with their adorable accents.’

Another said: ‘Princess Lilibet and Meghan singing about the late guy…’

Someone else gushed: ‘You can hear Both Archie and Lilibet in the videos’

A fourth added: ‘Princess Lilibet voice is so beautiful singing with mom. I only wish I could see her face. She has ginger hair color as her dad and long hair as mom-:))’

The last time fans got a glimpse of Meghan and Harry’s rarely seen children was when they released a Christmas card from the Archewell Foundation featuring a photograph Prince Archie, five, and Princess Lilibet, three, for the first time in years.

The duchess shared the montage of the ‘sweet’ pooch – who was set to appear on her Netflix show – on social media.

Admitting she has cried ‘too many tears to count,’ the mother-of-two thanked her pet for years of ‘unconditional love’.

Photos show Guy huddling up with Meghan in bed, enjoying cuddles with Harry and keeping the Duchess company as she tucks into making jam.

‘In Memory of Guy,’ she penned in the clip – urging followers to ‘adopt not shop’ – which includes a montage of photos and videos with the pooch set to melancholy music.

‘In 2015, I adopted a beagle from a dog rescue in Canada. He had been at a kill shelter in Kentucky and given a few days to live. I swooped him up….and fell in love.

‘They referred to him as “the little guy” because he was so small and frail, so I named him “Guy”. And he was the best guy any girl could have asked for.’

The sweet tribute offers a rare glimpse into the Sussexes’ home life, featuring sweet moments with the family pet.

‘We’re jamming, Guy,’ Meghan can be heard telling the pooch in one video as she is seen boiling raspberries on the stove while the curious Beagle joins her at her side.

It is the third upload on her Instagram page after she last week launched her new Netflix series on her brand new Instagram account, called With Love, Meghan.

A sleepy but smiley Guy featured in the trailer for the highly anticipated show, dropping next week.

‘If you followed me on Instagram back in the day, you saw a lot of him – and on The Tig too. He was with me at Suits, when I got engaged, (and then married), when I became a mom….he was with me for everything: the quiet, the chaos, the calm, the comfort,’ she recounted.

‘He endured a terrible accident shortly before I moved to the UK which had him undergoing surgeries for several months and unable to leave the clinic. Doctors said he would never walk again, but Dr Noel Fitzpatrick said he could do it. H and I would drive late at night, after hours, to see Guy as he recovered in Surrey for months on end.’

Meghan expressed her gratitude to Dr Noel as well as ‘the team at Queen West Animal Hospital in TO, our vets now, and my friends and community’.

‘Thank you for loving him so,’ she said. ‘Because many of you will now see Guy in this new series, I hope you’ll come to understand why I am so devastated by his loss. I think you may fall a little bit in love too.

‘I have cried too many tears to count – the type of tears that make you get in the shower with the absurd hope that the running water on your face will somehow make you not feel them, or pretend they’re not there. But they are. And that’s okay too.

‘Thank you for so many years of unconditional love, my sweet Guy. You filled my life in ways you’ll never know. As ever, Meghan.’
