Devastated Heidi Montag breaks down in tears after dropping household dwelling in Los Angeles wildfires

A devastated Heidi Montag broke down in tears this morning after losing her family home in the Los Angeles wildfires.

The reality star, who shared the stunning Pacific Palisades home with husband Spencer Pratt and their two sons, was inconsolable as she filmed herself sobbing on Snapchat early Wednesday morning.

‘I have no words… I’m so thankful that we’re safe,’ she said as her youngest son Ryker, two, comforted her.

‘I’m so sad our house is gone. I wish I could have gone back and got more,’ she continued through tears.

‘I didn’t think it would be the last time we would be in our house. I’m so sad for everyone else going through the same thing.’

She then forced a smile as a restless Ryker wiped away her tears.

‘It’s really hard losing your house and everything you worked so hard for,’ she continued.

‘Life is so crazy,’ she cried, before confessing that she wished that she’d packed son Gunner’s art before fleeing the inferno.

Heidi continued to film herself crying a few hours later and revealed that her grief has been ‘coming in waves.’

‘I just want to go home. I just want to feel my stuff and sit on my couch. I’m so homesick,’ she cried.

The $3 million mansion was previously featured on the couple’s MTV series, The Hills: New Beginnings.

Heidi, 38, and Spencer, 41, lost their home after it was completely destroyed by flames on Tuesday.

Spencer was captured in photos as he watched the rapidly advancing fire move toward his home, which is in an area featuring many celebrity estates that are also at risk of burning.

Luckily, the couple and their two sons were able to safely evacuate earlier in the day before the flames got too close.

Spencer documented firefighters’ attempts to contain the blaze with a video posted to Instagram showing an airplane dropping water on a nearby mountain.

Footage shot near the couple’s home shows Spencer looking somberly at the approaching flames as he stands on a hillside with a group of people, including one person who appeared to be his father.

The Hills star, who wore a black graphic T-shirt, brushed his eyes at one point, possibly from irritating smoke or flying debris.

The roar of the winds that have fueled the fires overwhelmed the clip’s audio at times.

One man could be heard urging passersby to evacuate immediately, but others sounded unconcerned and laughed amid the advancing flames.

Spencer, who stood on a wooden boardwalk amid bushes and succulents, was pictured documenting the blaze with his phone.

The reality star later revealed that his parents home, which was also in the Pacific Palisades, had completely burned down too.

Additionally, his younger sister Stephanie may have also lost her home.

Stephanie posted a desperate caption on Instagram alongside a picture showing the streets of Pacific Palisades in flames with a slogan across it saying: ‘#PRAYFORPACIFICPALISADES’.

‘I don’t know if it’s a good thing I’m in London or I need to get back to LA,’ she captioned it.

‘I can’t think straight. What do I do? Honestly looking for advice. I’m frozen in shock. How horrible for my sweet little nephews to watch their house disappear like this,’ she continued.

‘They must be so scared and confused. I guess the silver lining for me is if my house goes it’s only my stuff – not years of family memories like everyone else in the palisades.’

The west-side neighborhood of Pacific Palisades is home to a bevy of stars, including Ben Affleck, Tom Hanks, Miles Teller, Reese Witherspoon, Adam Sandler and Jhene Aiko, among others.
