A female British skier has died after crashing into another UK tourist on a black slope in France.
Emergency services rushed to Les Arcs resort in the Savoyard district at around 10.30 am this morning following reports of the violent collision involving the two skiers.
The unnamed British woman, 65, is said to have crashed head-on into a 35-year-old British man on the black slope of the Aiguille Rouge run after losing control of her skis and died following the crash.
Paramedics tried to resuscitate her, but she was pronounced dead at the scene.
According to French news outlet Le Dauphine, the British man, who was stationary at the time of the collision, suffered from a broken leg and was transported to a local medical centre.
