Brian Green was charged but fled, and is now being hunted despite being sentenced to 22 years in prison

Several hundreds of Britain’s worst people are currently on the run. According to a Crimestoppers Most Wanted list, nearly 200 people are currently being hunted by various police forces with charges ranging from horrific sexual abuse crimes to outright murder.

And while some of them are listed as being dangerous individuals, many are so sought after that police forces around the UK have placed a bounty on their heads.

The Daily Star has put together a list of just some of the horrific individuals listed, with the full grim selection available to view on Crimestoppers’ own website.

Mohammed Ali Ege has a £10k bounty on his head

One of the worst on the list is Mohammed Ali Ege, who is currently wanted by South Wales Police for the murder of 17-year-old Aamir Siddiqi in Cardiff on April 11, 2010.

Aarmir was said to have been opening a door to a teacher when he was stabbed to death by drug-fuelled contract killers – although Mohammed was not one of the killers, he is wanted in connection with the murder.

In a 2023 statement, his parents said: “Our beloved son Aamir was our loving, funny, intelligent and generous child who was about to embark on the next phase of his life at university.

Jack Mayle was last seen in Marbella

“We urge anyone who has any information that could help the police with their enquiries, to please get in touch – your call might help bring an end to the very long ordeal for our family and potentially, help to prevent this kind of tragedy happening again.”

He had actually been arrested in India for the offence, however, escaped in 2017 while awaiting extradition to the UK and now remains unlawfully at large.

Kieron Quinn has several tattoos . . . and is ginger

He is listed as having family links to Cardiff but may also be known to India, Turkey and Dubai, and is aged between 40-45. Crimestoppers has offered a £10,000 reward for information leading to the arrest.

Another on the list is Brian Green, thought to be aged over 70. He is being hunted after being found guilty of multiple charges relating to the rape of a child under the age of 13.

Green was initially remanded into custody but was later bailed to return home to Spain. The condition of this bail was that he return to the UK on the March 25, 2024, for his trial, however he never did – he was sentenced to 22 years in prison in his absence.

Drug trafficker Jack Mayle is wanted by Surrey Police for his involvement in the supply of MDMA, methylphenidate and diazepam. According to Crimestoppers, Mayle fled after being charged and he allegedly ran a drug line in South London and Surrey called the Flavour Quest.

He worked with a dark web drug dealer buying and selling drugs between each other for onward sales through their respective drug networks. They sold LSD and various pharmaceutical medication. He is currently thought to be based somewhere in Marbella, Spain.

Roxana Paun is of Romanian descent

Also listed is Roxana Paun, who is wanted for a robbery in Northamptonshire after she approached a member of the public and stole their watch by cause of a distraction. She threw the watch into a vehicle before the driver and Paun speed off – in doing so they also caused injury to the victim.

The Romanian national is said to have links to Birmingham, Germany and Badalona in Spain, and is aged around 30-35.

Lastly, Keiron Quinn is being sought in relation to seven offences involving conspiracy to supply Class A and B drugs, fraudulently evading prohibition on the importation of Class A and B drugs, and participating in the criminal activities of an organised crime group.
