Donald Trump’s family are watching on at the US Capitol as their father is sworn in as the 47th President of the United States today.
Earlier today, members of the Trump clan were pictured arriving for mass at St. Johns Church ahead of the inauguration, with daughter Ivanka sporting a bottle green ensemble with a matching beret. The new President, along with wife Melania, also attended a traditional morning service at the church before heading for morning tea at the White House.
Millions around the world watched the official swearing-in ceremony which began at around 5pm UK time, with anticipation as the 78-year-old Republican, who already served as the 45th President, embarks on his second four-year term. While he is armed with a carefully selected cabinet, which includes billionaire tech tycoon Elon Musk, he will also be supported by his children, who have even worked for the president in the past.
Away from politics, Trump is a dad of five from three families. Thanks to his entrepreneurial efforts before taking to politics, between them, Trump Jr, Ivanka, Eric, Tiffany and Barron are heirs to a £6 billion fortune. Here, the Mirror takes a look at who Trump’s children are…

Donald John Trump Jr.
Trump’s first child was with his first wife, the late Ivana Trump. The socialite couple married in 1977, with Trump Jr. born in December that year, and divorced in 1990. Trump Jr., 46, is now a father of five with an estimated net worth of £38 million.
The businessman has spent his career working for his father, managing the Trump Organisation’s property portfolio and he has had high-profile involvement in his father’s presidential campaigns too. Trump Jr. is known for calling for “total war” as the results were counted during Trump’s defeat to Biden and went on to speak at the rally that led to the storming of the Capitol, where he threatened his father’s opponents by saying: “We’re coming for you”.

The Presidential candidate’s eldest son is clearly a controversial character, once banned by Twitter for promoting misinformation about Covid-19, also being accused of retweeting white supremacists and sharing a post that suggested Joe Biden was a paedophile, something he later branded “joking around”.
Trump Jr. has been criticised for his love of hunting, remaining unrepentant when pictures emerged with one showing his arms around a dead leopard and another depicting him holding a bloody elephant tail in one hand and a knife in another. Trump Jr. has five children from his first marriage to model Vanessa Haydon: Kai, Donald III, Tristan, Spencer and Chloe. He got engaged to TV news personality Kimberly Guilfoyle in 2020.
Ivanka Marie Trump

Known as Ivanka, the second of Trump’s children is 43 and began her career working at the Trump Organisation. The glamorous businesswoman was a model too, with a successful line of clothing and accessories.
The businesswoman’s joint net worth with husband Jared Kushner is thought to be around £615million. In 2017, Ivanka became First Daughter and Advisor to the President, with Trump accused of nepotism when he gave her prominent roles in meetings with G20 and Kim Jong-Un. Ivanka, who described visiting North Korea’s demilitarised zone as “surreal”, was seen as an important “validator” for her father, defending him against unsavoury allegations.
Her husband Kushner served as a senior advisor to Trump from 2017 to 2021 and has since founded equity firm Affinity Partners. The couple have three children, Arabella, Joseph and Theodore and live in Miami, with Ivanka taking a back seat in her father’s latest presidential campaign.
Eric Frederick Trump

The youngest of Trump’s children with Ivana, Eric, also joined the Trump Organisation, helping to manage operations with big brother Donald Jr. while his father was in the White House. He is married to wife Lara, a former TV producer who is now co-chair of the Republican National Committee, and they share two children, son Eric and daughter Caroline.
In a 2015 interview, the 40-year-old described his dad as an “incredibly funny” person. “His humour’s really one of his best qualities and people don’t see that,” he said. “It doesn’t come across on the news, when he’s talking about serious issues. But he is an incredibly funny, incredibly practical person.”
Tiffany Ariana Trump

Tiffany, 31, is Trump’s only child with his second wife, actress Marla Maples. A law graduate from Georgetown University, she married billionaire family heir Michael Boulos at Trump’s Mar-a-Lago Florida estate in 2022, with her father walking her down the aisle.
Tiffany’s social media profiles indicate her legal work is focused on criminal justice reform and cyber national security. Trump recently shared the happy news his daughter is expecting her first child, his 11th grandchild.
Barron William Trump

Trump’s son with his current wife, Melania, is 18 and grew up in the family’s lavish penthouse in Manhattan. While the former President’s older children played more public roles in his presidency, Barron largely stayed out of the limelight.
A source told People magazine last year that their son had always been a “first priority” in Melania’s life. “She has always put him first,” they said. “She is a good mother”.
Barron, who speaks both English and Slovenian, is in his freshman year at New York University. Trump revealed earlier this year his son is 6ft 7ins tall, attributing this to the incredible food his late grandmother, Melania’s mother Amalija, would cook for him.
“I said you’re gonna be a basketball player,” he said, according to the Daily Mail. “He said: ‘Well I like soccer Dad, actually.’ I thought: ‘At your height I like basketball better but you can’t talk them into everything’.”
