Tennis ace Arina Rodionova has announced she is getting divorced from her husband before saying she’s setting up an exclusive page.

The 35-year-old Russian-Australian, who was knocked out in the second round of Australian Open qualifying by Eva Lys, took to social media to confirm her split from husband and ex-Aussie rules player Ty Vickery in a strange video.

Rodionova appeared in the curious Instagram video alongside Vickery as she nonchalantly announced after nine years of marriage: “Hey guys, we have a quick announcement to make, we’re getting divorced.”

Vickery sat in the background smirking as he held a half-eaten banana as the one-time WTA doubles champion continued: “We’ve been separated for about a year.

“Friends and family know but we just wanted to let the wider community know about this situation. Thank you.” The 34-year-old Aussie rules star added: “We’re good. We’re good with each other and we wish each other the best. Thanks for the support.”

Rodionova then turned her hand to him to offer a handshake, only for Vickery to put the banana in her grasp instead as the two burst into laughter.

She captioned the post: “Life happens. We have lots of love for each other but sometimes it’s just not enough.”

Before she posted a cheeky message to her Instagram story, writing: “With all these articles going round.. This seems like a good time to start posting all those bikini photos from the Maldives… on my OF account obviously.”

Rodionova announced she had launched an OnlyFans page after exiting the Australian Open. Upon joining the site, she said: “My account was confirmed so here we go. Let’s do this.”

Her bio also stirred amusement as she described herself as a “tennis player but a fun one”.
