The UK’s Parliament might be a historic institution, but it sometimes also feels like a feral zoo. From slanging matches to mud slinging, to some MPs being kicked out for breaking the rules, sometimes it seems like our great institution is nothing but a school playground.
And that got us thinking about what compares to this chaos – and the answer was pretty simple.
The most popular game for children and adults alike for the last 30 years is Pokémon. No matter how much people try to deny it, the thrill of trying to catch them all still remains to this day while battling your friends and enemies is also a proven winner.
So with that in mind, we turned to Elon Musk’s artificial intelligence-powered large language model Grok to create images of what the House of Commons would look like if all our MPs were actually Pokémon, and what PMQs as a Pokémon battle would end up being.
Apologies in advance . . . some of these images are horrifying, however, if Prime Minister Keir Starmer and Leader of the Opposition Kemi Badenoch decided to whip out a few Pikachus and Charizards to battle it out instead of ridiculous questions each week, we’re sure more people would tune in.
After all, they want to be the very best, like no one ever was (dun dun dundun).
