Manchester United fans have been left fuming at Ruben Amorim for his baffling Patrick Dorgu decision.

Dorgu was the Red Devils’ marquee signing in the January transfer window – arriving ahead of Transfer Deadline Day. It was believed he was wanted by Amorim as he could play in his 3-4-3 system.

And the full-back was thrown into the starting side for their FA Cup clash with Leicester City on Friday evening – but not in his expected position.

“Dalot on the left and Dorgu on the right is too woke for me,” one fan fumed. While a second said: “Why is Dorgu on the Right flank and Dalot still on the Left wing? Why are both players not in their natural positions?”

“Gotta put Dorgu on the left sooner or later. Absolutely no attack going for them right now,” a third pointed out. And another added: “Dorgu finds space behind opposition line but can’t cross because it was on his weak foot. That’s a goal with Dalot in that position…”
