Patrick Mahomes is looking to cement his status as one of the all-time greats during the early hours of Monday morning.
Mahomes, 29, will lead his Kansas City Chiefs into battle against the Philadelphia Eagles in the Super Bowl. The quarter-back has already won three Super Bowl rings – and he’ll be hoping to get his hands on the Vince Lombardi trophy for a fourth time.
The American can count on the support of his jaw-dropping wife Brittany – who once stripped down for Sports Illustrated.
Blonde bombshell Brittany stripped down to the tiniest of tiny red bikinis as part of a photo shoot in Belize, celebrating her inclusion in the magazine’s 2024 swimsuit edition.
Fans were blown away by the stunner, who frolicked in the crystal clear waters as she strutted her stuff for the cameras, and flooded to the comments section to lavish her with compliments.
“Absolutely stunning,” one googly-eyed follower responded. “You are a queen,” added another, while a third beamed: “Patrick is a lucky man.”
There were, however, some negative replies. Brittany is a divisive figure among fans, many of whom threw insults at her in the comments. But Brittany hit back, writing on Instagram: “I’m here to tell you people will dislike you, people will love you.
“Don’t let any of that define you. Keep shining and being you.”
Sports Illustrated (SI) were forced to come to her defence too. The magazine’s official Instagram responded to one person praising Brittany saying: “Couldn’t have said it better,” and later adding: “[Brittany is] a true inspiration to us all.”
In an SI interview released on the same day, Mahomes said: “I want women to feel empowered to always be yourself, love yourself and feel confident in whatever you do. Be confident in who you are and be unapologetically yourself.
“People are going to love you or hate you, but finding your values and what makes you the best version of yourself is what really matters. I want people to know they can accomplish anything, even things you never thought would be possible in your wildest dreams.”
Patrick and Brittany are childhood sweethearts, having met back when they were in high school. They got engaged in 2020 before tying the knot in 2022. They also have two children: a daughter and a son.
Brittany was quite the footballer in her day – and she was named WHS Offensive MVP and was an All-East Texas forward with 22 goals and five assists.
Football has proved an itch that needed to be scratched down the years, and she is a founding co-owner of the Kansas City Current, a team in the American professional top-division National Women’s Soccer League (NWSL).
