Travis Kelce faces more humiliation after his Kansas City Chiefs were picked apart in the Super Bowl.
Kelce was left gutted after Super Bowl fans booed his girlfriend Taylor Swift – and a source told the Daily Mail: “Travis was aware of Taylor getting booed and he felt helpless. Seeing the look on her face got to him.
“He always protects her and it broke his heart. He was already having a tough night and the fact that the stadium was predominantly Eagles fans didn’t help. Travis knows that this hurt her and anyone can see this.”
And his evening has seemingly got even worse when ex-girlfriend Kayla Nicole rubbed salt in the wounds by joining the Eagles celebration on the pitch at the Caesars Superdome.
Kayla, who dated Kelce on and off for five years before they went their separate ways in 2022, shared videos on her Instagram story of the celebrations.
In one video she can be seen holding green and white confetti, while she captioned another: “They said there’s room on the wagon y’all!”
Kayla had already revealed she was rooting against a Chiefs three-peat in the build-up to the event: “They’ve got the threats, so, as much as I’d love to see somebody else in the Super Bowl, just to see something new, it’s not gonna happen,” she said on the I Am Athlete podcast.
“They have guys they can throw the ball to who aren’t going to drop the ball in the end zone,” she said. “Travis Kelce – that’s a tight end that’s not gonna do it, [drop the ball].”
It was a night to forget for Kelce, who struggled on the pitch as her beau was booed off it; the future hall-of-famer registered just four catches and 39 yards from six targets.
