A murderer who brutally inflicted 130 injuries on a Scottish mother during a horrific bloodbath has been revealed.

Michelle Ramage, 43, and Ryan Hill, 27, left Susan Turner with 130 injuries in the terrifying incident.

Ramage was enraged after discovering that Susan, 41, had been sending text messages to her partner Jason Bell. The court heard that Susan was subjected to a horrifying ordeal of being stripped, choked, stabbed with scissors, disfigured and beaten with various weapons at Jason’s flat in Ayrshire, south west Scotland.

Ramage initially plead not guilty to the savage attack but changed her plea to guilty midway through the trial. Jason, 51, was also charged with murder, but the jury returned a not proven verdict.

Both Ramage and Hill, who have nearly 50 previous convictions between them, are due to be sentenced in March.

The court heard that Susan was close to Jason at the time and his brother Alexander, 46, said that Susan would visit him two to three times a day, The Daily Record reports.

Prosecutor Chris McKenna asked Alexander if Ramage knew that the victim had also been texting his brother, and he said he did remember one message.

McKenna asked: “How did Michelle react? ” The witness replied: “I do not think she liked it. She was not happy. You could see it in her face.”

The court was gripped as Alexander revealed to the police that Susan was “constantly” bombarding his brother with messages. He added: “Michelle…you could see was getting annoyed. She was becoming jealous – that was obvious.”

Before Susan’s tragic death, Ramage had a heated confrontation with her, complete with expletives.

On the night of March 26, 2023, Alexander was at a friend’s house when his brother rocked up looking like a “nervous wreck”. Jason reportedly said “they are going to end up murdering her” or “they are going to end up doing away with her.”

Later, he returned to his flat, and that’s where police found him sitting outside. They forced their way in and Sergeant Craig McLachlan described being hit by “the very strong smell of blood” before finding “a visibly deceased female” with horrific injuries on the floor.

In his final address, McKenna painted a gruesome picture for the jury, saying there was “barely a party of Susan Turner’s body that was not injured.”

The attack on Susan was brutal; she’d been “scored” with a blade all over.

McKenna stated: “This was an attack done to demean and disfigure her – an attack to cause pain.”

Hill was found guilty of murder earlier today following the trial at the High Court in Glasgow.
