Former Brazil star Hulk scored one of the best goals of his career on Saturday when he found the net with a powerful free-kick from more than 35 yards.
The 38-year-old’s stunning long-range strike helped Atletico Mineiro beat Tombense 2-0 in the first leg of their Campeonato Mineiro semi-final.
Hulk was famous for his rocket-like shots during the prime of his career, in which he has hit more than 400 goals for teams including Porto, Zenit Saint Petersburg and Shanghai SIPG.
And Saturday’s strike proved that the 49-time Brazil international is still capable of producing magic moments on the field.
But most of the headlines made by Hulk in recent years have been about his life away from the pitch.
In January, Hulk married his ex-wife’s niece in a religious wedding ceremony.

The former Porto frontman tied the knot with Camila Angelo, despite being previously married to her aunt, Iran Angelo.
Hulk and Camila were together for 12 years between 2007 and 2019 and had three children together; sons Ian and Tiago, and a daughter, Alice.
Those children are now technically cousins of his new wife.
Reflecting on his wedding, Hulk wrote on Instagram: ‘Before God and the promises of our love, we unite in one heart, beginning our eternity together, life! I love you.’
The wedding ceremony took place in Hulk’s home town of Campina Grande.
Hulk wore a wine-coloured suit as he walked down the aisle accompanied by his mother.
Camila, meanwhile, walked down the aisle with her father and wore an embroidered dress with a veil by designer Samuel Cirnansck.
Hulk entered the church to the sound of ‘Sabor de Mel’ by Damares, with Camila choosing ‘Que Bom Voce Chegou’ by Bruna Karla.

The ceremony was held at The Diocesan Cathedral of Our Lady of the Conception, with a sea of white roses filling the church.
One of Iran’s sisters, Rayssa, later aimed some scathing words at Camila via social media.
Rayssa wrote: ‘Today is a hard day to swallow, a day that reveals how far betrayal can go when it comes from the people we least expect. If my mother were alive, I am sure she would not be able to bear such monstrosity. Seeing a granddaughter, who grew up under her roof, betray her own family in such a cruel way would be an impossible blow to overcome.
‘Yes, exactly today, seven years ago, we were mourning the death of my mother. And today a macabre spectacle happened which made me understand that she really couldn’t be here, because she wouldn’t be able to resist such shame and monstrosity!’
She added: ‘It is sad to realise that Judas is not only in ancient stories, sometimes he sleeps under the same roof, eats at the same table and, at the right moment, stabs himself in the back.
‘Wanting what belongs to someone else, wanting to live the life of someone who trusted you, is a reflection of an empty heart, incapable of creating its own happiness.’
