The smelliest member of Congress is unmasked: ‘The dude simply stinks’

The smelliest member of Congress has been revealed by a former lawmaker.

Former New York Republican Rep. George Santos says another New Yorker has the worst body odor on Capitol Hill.

Speaking to comedian Jim Norton on his new podcast titled ‘Jim Norton Can’t Save You’ on Wednesday, Santos was asked who has the worst breath out of all the lawmakers in Congress.

Stunned by the question, the former lawmaker began laughing immediately as he sought to regain his composure and deliver a verdict on who most needs a breath mint.

Santos, 36, represented a portion of New York’s Long Island as a Republican from January 2023 – December 2023 before he was expelled by his colleagues.

An Ethics Committee investigation found he spent taxpayer money on botox and adult content on OnlyFans, which led him to become the first Republican ever expelled from Congress.

In August 2024, Santos separately pleaded guilty to wire fraud and identity theft. He now faces between two and 20 years behind bars in the federal case against him.

But as he sought to repair is his image and address his legal woes on the comedian’s show, Santos disclosed that Democrat Rep. Jerry Nadler has the worst body odor in Congress.

New York Democrat Jerry Nadler is the worst smelling member of Congress, Santos revealed

Nadler previously led the House Judiciary Committee from 2019 – 2023 where he took Trump on during his first term’s impeachments

‘I can say this for sure [with] no mental reservation,’ Santos said. ‘The worst body odor in Congress is definitely Jerry Nadler.’

‘Really, it’s so bad. It’s so bad,’ Santos continued. ‘Dude, Jerry Nadler stinks. Dude, he stinks.’

Santos, whose since been dubbed ‘the Long Island liar,’ went on recounting an instance where Nadler passed gas on the House Floor.

‘Jerry Nadler would waddle down that aisle and crop dust,’ the former lawmaker remembered.

‘Like, it was every step of his waddle was a fart.’

‘But the dude just stinks… he’s greasy and oily. Ewww. Take a shower, goddamnit!’ Santos said.

The expelled lawmaker also lamented how Nadler has consistently won reelection since first joining Congress in 1992.

‘You know what’s my biggest disappointment of the 2022 cycle? That Carolyn Maloney didn’t beat him,’ Santos said.

Nadler’s office did not immediately respond to DailyMail.com’s request for comment.
