Manchester United are the only unbeaten side left in Europe this season.
And they have now learned their path to the Europa League final – which will start with a clash against Real Sociedad, they have also been drawn on the same side as Lyon, Roma and Athletic Club.
“Of course Manchester United get Real Sociedad. Destined to only play Spanish teams in Europe,” one fan fumed. While a second said: “No way the Mighty Yanited are shook of Real Sociedad!”
And another added: “Why’s everyone so scared of Real Sociedad, our form recently has made everyone delusional it seems?”
It hasn’t been a dream start to life in Manchester for Ruben Amorim, who has seen his side sink to 15th in the Premier League – with a defeat to Tottenham their latest embarrassment.
