Erling Haaland took a swipe at Arsenal youngster Myles Lewis-Skelly after he was sent off in the defeat against West Ham.

Arsenal saw their Premier League title hopes take another major blow as a toothless Gunners side were beaten 1-0 at the Emirates by West Ham. The game was further compounded for the hosts when Lewis-Skelly saw red as they chased an equaliser.

The 18-year-old was initially booked for scything down Mohammed Kudus as he was dispossessed by the Hammers forward at the halfway line, before referee Craig Pawson was sent to the monitor by VAR.

Pawson then overturned his original decision, with Lewis-Skelly adjudged to have stopped a goal-scoring opportunity with no covering Arsenal defender between Kudus and the open goal, with David Raya just five yards inside his own half.

West Ham fans took to social media after the game to mock their rivals following the win. A picture of two supporters sat recreating Haaland’s mediation celebration was reposted by a City fan account. That picture was subsequently liked by Haaland, who has history with Lewis-Skelly.

Haaland previously shouted “who the f*** are you” at the teenager when he made his Arsenal debut in the 2-2 draw at the Etihad in September.

Lewis-Skelly then hit back at the City marksman when he copied his celebration after scoring in the Gunners’ 5-1 demolition of City earlier this month. Their own personal rivalry has played out in front of the backdrop of the ongoing ‘stay humble’ saga first started by Haaland.
