Jenna, also known as Big Fat Jenna, has 1million TikTok followers and is known for her viral make-up videos – but her Shrek clip proved to be one of the most popular

Big Fat Jenna goes to smear test as Princess Fiona
An influencer took TikTok by storm after she shared her smear test on the platform – all while dressed as Shrek.
Jenna, also known as Big Fat Jenna to her whopping 1.1million TikTok followers, hails from Manchester and is a beauty and fashion guru who’s used to racking up millions of views with her makeup wizardry.
However, one video went particularly viral for a different reason, raising eyebrows in the process. As she approached her 25th birthday, Jenna decided to document her very first smear test, giving her fans an intimate glimpse of the procedure.
But, twist? The creative influencer chose to attend her crucial cervical screening dressed as Princess Fiona from Shrek, complete with ogre ears.
Despite the private nature of this often nerve-wracking exam, Jenna’s (or should we say Fiona’s) personal check-up has clocked over 3.1 million views.
Speaking exclusively to Daily Star, Jenna opened up about her unique visit to the doctor’s office back in October 2023.
“I wasn’t nervous,” Jenna claimed when quizzed about her cervical screening appointment. “I just think I’d rather be poked up the f*nny then have cancer.”
She believes there’s a serious misjudgement about the test, noting that people endure piercings and tattoos yet shy away from a smear that could save their lives. Jenna made clear she has no hang-ups about such things, emphasising their importance.
She added: “I think people look at it in such a wrong way, I’ll get butt loads of piercings and people get tattoos but won’t get a smear test to potentially save their lives.”
“So I’m not bothered about stuff like that. At the end of the day they’re trying to help you.”
Jenna hadn’t planned to dress as the ogre for her smear test but it happened to fall on the same day as her scheduled ’31 days of Halloween makeup. Not wanting to cancel her appointment, the makeup artist and influencer decided to show up in the hours-long look.
But, what did the nurse think of her very green patient? Well, Jenna reckons that the she’d ‘probably seen worse’ at the doctors surgery.
Jenna shared: “I don’t think she [the nurse] was mega shocked, she’s probably seen worse than that in the doctors. She had a good laugh and got her friend [colleague] to have a look so I’m glad she took it in a good way.”
While Jenna and the nurse remained cool during the screening that checks for HPV and other cervical abnormalities, not everyone was comfortable with her Shrek-like face paint.
Though she tried to keep a low profile, Jenna couldn’t avoid some “weird” glances in her ogre-inspired makeup. An elderly bloke certainly saw the funny side, cracking jokes post her appointment.
Jenna shared: “I didn’t really see anyone but I probably got some weird looks because I had my head down when I left. In the waiting room there was only a couple of people when I went but when I came out, it was quite full.
“I thought it would be even funnier if I walked through like nothing happened so I didn’t make eye contact with anyone so I just had the most relaxed facial expression and walked out.
“I think someone saw me when I was driving but again, I didn’t make any eye contact. I had to go to a flower shop on the way home, they loved it in there.
“I did see an old man outside and he said: ‘Oh you’re not looking too well love, you’re looking a bit off colour’.”
After dropping out from university years ago, Jenna worked at Aldi to pay the bills but soon realised that her heart lay with creativity. She began posting content to Instagram and TikTok and now creates social media content as a full-time gig.
Her unique and intricate makeup tutorials have seen her followers on TikTok skyrocket.
Jenna revealed that many women have been influenced to book their smear test after her viral makeup stunt.
Despite being covered in green paint, the influencer said the ‘scariest’ part was leaving the house and waiting for her appointment.
She reiterated that women often fear the smear test, but Jenna urged it’s not as bad as it sounds.
“I’m glad it had such a positive reaction,” Jenna beamed. “I know it looks quite attention seeking which it is but I knew it would be a good video.
“But, I’m glad that there’s a lot of comments saying ‘I’m going to book in now’, but I can’t believe that many people haven’t booked in.
“There’s so many people that don’t know what it is, don’t know when you’ve got to have it done or anything about it and think it’s so much worse than it is.”
She added: “I always do weird sh*t to be fair, I think the scariest part was leaving the house and going in the doctors waiting room because my heart is racing when I do stuff like that.
“But I just know it’s so scary for you, but even if someone looks and laughs it’s such a small part of their day they’ll probably think about it for a second and just get on with their day.
“The things that you do that scare you, once you’ve done them, they’re not that scary and you feel so much better for it and tackle things in life – even if it’s not related to being an ogre.”
