This year Ralph Fiennes and Timothée Chalamet battle it out for Best Actor, while Demi Moore and Mikey Madison face off for Best Actress. The red carpet will be buzzing with excitement as these megastars await their fate.
Emilia Perez, the Spanish-language musical mired in scandal, leads the pack with a whopping 13 nominations. Not far behind is the musical Wicked and gritty period drama The Brutalist, each racking up 10 nods.
And it’s not just the films getting attention. Elton John is back in the Oscar game with his fifth Original Song nomination, while pop sensation Ariana Grande makes her Oscar debut with a nomination for her role as Glinda in Wicked.
For the second consecutive year, UK fans will be able to watch the Oscars live and for free.

The ceremony will be broadcast exclusively on ITV1 and ITVX in the UK. Scottish viewers will be able to watch on ITV’s Scottish channels, STV and STV Player.
What time are the Oscars on?
Jonathan Ross will host pre-Oscars coverage, beginning at 10:30pm, where viewers can watch the superstars walk the red carpet.
The main event begins at midnight UK time and will continue through until around 3am.
Who is hosting the Oscars?
This year’s Oscars will be hosted by USA comedian and talk show host Conan O’Brien.
He joked to ABC News : “I’m just saying yes to things that I wouldn’t have done before. I’m a black belt in karate now. I’m a licensed neurosurgeon.
“I mean, there are all these things I’m doing now that I didn’t think I would ever do before.”
