An expert has warned bloated alien blobs could attempt to colonise our planet – sadly he says ET’s won’t resemble the sexy, slender blue Amazonian alien from the Avatar franchise
A University of Oxford biologist has warned the earth could face a ‘Star Wars’ style aliens invasion from extra-terrestrials that look like Jabba the Hunt.
Professor Coulson told The European Magazine that it was “perfectly rational” to believe that iintelligent life exists elsewhere in the universe and has warned that these cosmic colonisers could “wipe out” humanity.
The professor is an expert in the extra-terrestrial and has advised governments and written more that 200 peer-reviewed articles and is considered to be one the world’s foremost authorities on biology and evolution.
Professor Coulson noted that he imagines this alien life to be “bloated, slow-moving blobs” that could attempt to colonise our planet and exploit our resources.
The Oxford Professor has stated that despite being from a completely foreign world there could be potentially a number of similarities between us and extra-terrestrials.
“Given aliens are likely made from the same stuff as us, they may very well behave like us.”
“Perhaps hi-tech alien spacecraft are already traversing vast tracts of space towards Earth, on a mission to make it a new home for the aliens that built the kit.”

The professor has continued to elaborate on the potential appearances of life on other planets.
Sadly the professor’s prediction of the appearance of alien life is far from the slender, sexy seven-foot and blue Amazonian avatars James Cameron’s film franchise depicts. However, he does list a number of less attractive extra-terrestrials from other film franchises that aliens might sadly resemble.
“They may be bloated, slow-moving blobs – more Jabba the Hut than Chewbacca, perhaps even using robotic tech to help them move around much like Baron Vladimir Harkonnen does in the book Dune.”
While Professor Coulson is optimistic that alien life exists somewhere out there in the universe he has said the chance of ever finding intelligent life beyond our own – or being invaded – is slim.
“It makes it challenging for intelligent aliens with colonial intentions to visit us. Given the way we treat other species – even on our own planet – that might be a very good thing.”
