A school coach packed with more than 30 kids went up in flames on a UK motorway. A terrifying image now shows the scorched aftermath abandoned on the M60 slip road at Swinton Interchange yesterday.

The vehicle inferno led to the closure of the northbound M61 between Junctions 1 and 2 as it joins the M60. Emergency crews swooped in urgently to empty the vehicle, ensuring everyone was safely out.

Highways England North-West alerted travellers to the closure shortly after 7pm on Wednesday night.

A total of six fire brigades combined forces to quash the fiery onslaught. Miraculously, reports say that all students and staff members made it out without harm, reports the Manchester Evening News.
