Jude Bellingham’s influencer girlfriend has vehemently responded to the ‘disrespectful’ allegations about her personal life in a fresh TikTok video.
Ashlyn Castro made her relationship public with Madrid’s latest Galactico last month when Bellingham returned from Real Madrid’s clash with Manchester City in the Champions League with her.
Regrettably, their romance has been marred by rumours about Ashlyn’s past. She has been linked romantically with Michael B. Jordan and other celebrities, and there were claims that she had previously dated Lewis Hamilton and Jamie Foxx.
And an incident where a profile allegedly belonging to Ashlyn appeared on an escort site was swiftly debunked.
The 27-year-old has now taken to social media to share her side of the story in a video titled ‘The hardest part is not speaking the truth, but finding the courage to do it’, reports the Mirror.
“I don’t even know where to begin, but I’m going to try my best to just get into it,” she stated. “It makes me super uncomfortable talking on camera about my personal life. I’ve never even really spoken on camera too many times, so bear with me.
“Every angle you can think of, people have attacked me, harassed me, been so disrespectful. It’s just been too much.
“Let’s talk about this dating history. I’ve had three boyfriends over the last eight years. In 2017, I was in my very first relationship and he’s a public figure, so because of that, I’ve dealt with people talking about me, making up things about me.
“There was nothing on the internet about me prior, so people kind of just made up a bunch of things to justify hating me because of who I was dating at the time. And then over the last six years after that, I’ve dated two people. So three relationships in total.”
In her candid video, Ashlyn also slammed rumours about creating fake social media profiles, clarifying she’d ‘never’ engaged in such activity and hadn’t ‘retweeted offensive things’.
She declared that her online footprint was limited to one account on the X platform, which is Twitter, revealing she’s tweeted only once since setting it up back in 2013.
Ashlyn didn’t hold back on the emotional toll of discussing such private issues online but highlighted the necessity for her mental wellbeing in confronting the allegations surrounding her.
“I’m like shaking because I’m not ready to talk about this on the internet,” she confessed. “This is extremely personal. This is my real life. I shouldn’t have to talk about this. But moving forward I will talk about things that are important such as mental health.”
