Police arrested a man after an alleged £50k worth of stolen goods including packs of meat were found at his home.
Cops in Peterborough were called to reports of shoplifting in the city. They tracked Mark Emery, 62, to his home which is also in the Cambridgeshire city and found a haul of stolen goods.
Police were originally looking for 28 tubes of toothpaste stolen from a Poundland store. They were found along with 21 packs of salmon, 66 packs of sliced ham, 55 joints of meat and 50 bottles of shower gel.
Also found at Emery’s property were designer bags, electrical items, clothing and lego sets. The haul found at the home can be seen in pictures released by Policing Peterborough in a post on Facebook.
