Wrestling fans were treated to a surprise glimpse of former WWE chief Vince McMahon at a NBA game.

WWE fans were used to seeing McMahon, 79, every week, but his appearance on St Patrick’s Day at the New York Knicks vs. Miami Heat game at Madison Square Gardens marks his first outing in a while.

During the broadcast, he was shown sitting courtside and referred to simply as a “former wrestling promoter.” The rare sighting has worried fans, with one taking to X to say: “He looks so old and broken,” while another said: “Milk aged better than this.”

The controversial former WWE boss was also sporting an interesting look, with grey streaks at the front of his head. One person nicknamed him: “Vincent Kruella McMahon!”

The ex-wrestling boss was seen last month at the Super Bowl game where the Philadelphia Eagles claimed the coveted trophy. This outing also led to concern among fans as they ruminated on how “thin” he was looking at the match.

At the Super Bowl, he debuted his freshly shaved face, with one fan celebrating the lack of dodgy facial hair the wrestling mogul displayed, with an 80s “p*** tash” prevalent on McMahon’s profile whenever he appeared in the recent Netflix docuseries Mr McMahon.

One wrote on X: “I’m glad Vince cut that 80’s p*** mustache off.”

The controversial former WWE boss has been somewhat of a recluse in recent years since being accused of sexual assault and trafficking by former WWE employee Janel Grant. McMahon has always firmly denied any wrongdoing but has seemingly kept a low-profile since the accusations came out in January last year.

McMahon initially retired in 2022, but then came back to usher in the merger of WWE and UFC into TKO Group Holdings. However, he then resigned from WWE’s parent company in January 2024 after a former employee filed a federal lawsuit accusing him and another former executive of serious sexual misconduct.

He continued to deny wrongdoing following the filing of the lawsuit.

Last month it was revealed one agreement was signed in 2019 and the other in 2022 following the lawsuit.

One agreement required McMahon to pay a former employee $3million in exchange for the former worker’s agreement to not disclose her relationship with McMahon and her release of potential claims against WWE and McMahon.
