The 29-year-old New York resident is the new face of Havaianas flip flops from Brazil.
The Hadid announcement was made on Monday with new images being released the next day by an overjoyed Hadid.
Gigi even spoke about how thrilled she was to be a part of the brand in a new video shared to Instagram. ‘To be the Havaianas global ambassador is a dream and a bit nostalgic because I can remember growing up a beach kid with Havaianas,’ said Gigi on social media. ‘I love that Havianas is making a fashion comeback.’
This comes after Forbes said she is the number two highest-paid model in 2025, taking the place of 44-year-old Gisele Bundchen.
The list is: Kendall Jenner, Gigi, Bella Hadid, Adriana Lima, Liu Wen, Gisele and Ashley Graham, according to CEO Today magazine.

Gigi added she loves the ‘casual’ style if Havaianas while adding she would make them work in Paris.
She also wrote in her caption: ‘So happy to be @havaianas’ new global ambassador — I’m a lifelong fan of these Brazilian icons !! on & off the beach @havaianaseurope @havaianas.us.’
Gigi said she was photographed by her ‘mermaid sister and fellow enthusiast @lilmami_lani.’
‘Are you ready? Because @gigihadid is here to make havaianas work from Paris, to NY to the beach! We’re so excited and honored to bring the fashion icon as our new global ambassador. ✨Welcome to the team, Gigi! ❤️,’ wrote Havianas on Tuesday.
She told Elle magazine this week: ‘Whether it’s my shorts to go to volleyball practice, or jeans to go get a smoothie, or a dress, it feels like to put on Havaianas,’ she said, calling the brand ‘iconic for a reason.’
Gigi also told Elle what she likes to do with her daughter Khai, four, when in NYC.
‘[Khai and I] love the Museum of Natural History and the Slime Museum—that’s a big hit for her. I love FAO Schwarz, even if it’s even if it’s just to go walk around and try out the demo toys together. That’s really fun. I love Son Del North burritos.
‘My favorite [shops in NYC] are young and independent, like designers that have great little showrooms. A couple of those being LilyEve, who takes blankets and makes jackets out of them and Susan Alexandra.

‘She’s popping off now, but I love her store and everything she makes. Haricot Vert has a little shop, too.’
When in LA she likes to go to Malibu with friends.
‘In Malibu, my favorite burrito is from Lily’s, near Point Dume. That’s my favorite breakfast burrito on planet Earth. There’s not a better one. Someone needs to go check that out and second me on this,’ she said.
The siren, who dates Bradley Cooper, also talked packing for trips.
‘I am a carry-on girl, through and through. When I’m going on quick work trips, I really pack basics. I’ll pack: a pair of blue jeans, a pair of gray jeans, a legging, a cashmere sweatpant, a sweater, a black T-shirt, a white T-shirt, a graphic T-shirt, socks, a loafer, a flip-flop, a flat, maybe a kitten heel. Then I’ll wear one of those pants, an extra T-shirt, and maybe a big leather jacket [during travel], and I can make a few outfits with those things.’
It comes after Gigi finally broke her silence on her ‘very happy and romantic’ relationship with actor Cooper.

Bradley and Gigi were first linked back in October 2023, and while they are ‘very happy’ in their relationship, sources have said they are in ‘no rush’ to get engaged.
Gigi said: ‘Bradley has opened me up to going to the theater more, and that’s something that’s so nice to bring back into my life…
‘You want to give yourself a normal experience of dating and even for my friends who aren’t public figures, that’s hard. Where do you go? And, what? You just start talking to people?’
She went onto hint that being in a relationship with Bradley may not have been something that would have come around earlier in her life.
Gigi added: ‘I think just getting to the point where knowing what you want and deserve in a relationship is essential, and then to find someone that is in a place in their life where they know what they want and deserve… and you both do work separately to come together and be the best partner that you can be.
