Nearly half of those quizzed insisted juggling tasks was essential to modern life, with helping with homework and cooking meals the top skills and many lads have mastered them
Men have boasted they can multitask as well as women – by sending work emails on the loo.
Around 60% admitted in a poll they can do more than one thing at once, the same percentage as women. Nearly half of those quizzed insisted juggling tasks was essential to modern life, with helping with homework and cooking meals the top skills.
A quarter confessed they work or send emails while on the loo, along with brushing their teeth in the shower to save time. Taking work calls in the supermarket or whilst looking after kids, paying bills on public transport and online grocery shopping during work meetings were also tasks men said they’d mastered.
The poll, by EV charging specialists Roam, also found drivers have done a workout, gone out for a meal, been to the cinema and been clothes shopping while charging their car.
James Randall, CEO of EV charging specialist Roam, who carried out the research, said: “This research highlights that our lives are now busier than ever, so it’s understandable that so many of us are looking for convenient and efficient ways to get all of life’s jobs done.”
“Going shopping or hitting the gym while you’re charging your car is now a realistic part of modern life, giving time-poor Brits the freedom to go wherever life takes them.”

The Star previously reported that multi-tasking is making people more stupid because our silly brains cannot cope with juggling lots of different activities at once, according to scientists.
Traditionally seen as a skill that helps us handle the pressures of our busy work and family lives, researchers found the habit can actually result in reduced memory, poorer decision-making and long-term brain decline. Neuroscientist Dr James Turner put it: “Multi-tasking is a myth. The brain isn’t designed to handle more than one task at a time. Read the full story here.
