The talented left-winger Martins made waves following his transfer to the Portuguese club after impressing with Swiss titans Young Boys, notching up 12 goals in 39 matches.
AFF-FFV, another of his former teams, mourned the loss. In a statement, the club said: “It is with great sadness that we learned of the passing of our former player, Yvann Costa Martins.
