UK ‘UFO sightings’ confuse Brits throughout nation however it could be all due to Elon Musk

Confused Brits shared several pictures of spinning glowing orbs in the British night sky as the answer may be related to a man who seems almost omnipresent at the moment – Elon Musk

Mysterious spiraling glowing orbs have been spotted by stargazers up and down the UK. Several baffled Brits took to social media sharing their experiences of witnessing the otherworldly spectacles in Greater Manchester, Derbyshire, Lancashire, Staffordshire and others.

The footage showed the bizarre spectacle that appeared to ‘spin’ through the nocturnal expanse. The phenomenon drew curious glances from confused Brits, prompting a flood of queries across social media platforms, although others revealed they thought the mystery item looked quite “beautiful”.

The answer to all their questions may be related to Elon Musk as one of his SpaceX rockets rockets left a very similar sight for New Zealanders back in 2022. The strange sight was caused by the company’s Falcon 9 dumped its fuel after it blasted a satellite into space.

The rocket created a vapour trail when it spun to vent its fuel which produced a visible blue swirl when it was reflected in the sunlight. Observes of the 2022 phenomenon said it ‘looked like an enormous spiral galaxy, just hanging there in the sky, and slowly just drifting across’.

The three-year-old comments were similar to what observers said about the sight tonight. “Anyone else just see this in the sky? It just kept spinning,” shared a perplexed Ashton-under-Lyne local on Facebook.

In Horwich, Bolton, one awe-stricken observer remarked: “Anyone else seen this tonight it was absolutely beautiful flying over Horwich.” Eye-catching snapshots also emerged in a Radcliffe community group, with one post querying: “Has anyone else just seen this over Radcliffe in the sky because me and the kids are freaked out”.

“What have we just seen? It was moving and then faded away after about two minutes and there were other small what looked like stars moving around it too.”

Equally intrigued, a Bredbury, Stockport resident queried: “Did anyone else just see this swirling thing in the sky? It was spinning round and then went off into the distance.”

A local in Denton, Tameside, was left bewildered by an unusual sighting in the sky, asking: “Anyone seen the strange moving objects in the sky? 8pm. One bright thing with white misty rings round it. Moving slow for ages then completely disappeared.”

The mysterious orb is thought to be linked with Monday’s launch of the Space X US spy satellite and appears to be the most logical explanation.

This isn’t the first time such a spectacle has occurred as in 2023, the United States bore witness to a similar spiral pattern in the sky, which later turned out to be excess fuel ejected from a SpaceX rocket that took off from California hours before.

Last week people across Ireland were left puzzled by an “unusual object” spotted in the sky for two consecutive nights. Two flashing objects appeared side by side over Dublin’s night sky on Wednesday, while a single flashing light was seen off the south coast on Tuesday night.

Alan O’Reilly from Carlow Weather shared his confusion on social media, asking for help in identifying the strange “UFOs.” He posted: “I received two videos from followers showing an unusual object in the sky over the last two nights.

“The first part is from last night over Dublin, and the second is from the night before off the south coast.”

Followers came up with various suggestions. Some believed the objects might be the International Space Station, while others thought they could be lanterns in the sky.
