Hitting back at those followers, the former MOTDx star created her own helpline on social media as she set up a mock help group for her 420,000 followers on Instagram.

Emma set up her video with an office background, intending to copy a work environment, where such messages would not be tolerated.

Emma posted a tongue-in-cheek video where she welcomed viewers to her “Very first DM helpline help group.” As she added the caption: “Introducing you all to the DM Helpline Help group.

“A weekly session for all our DM deviants. Dave, Ian, Simon…See you next week. *This is not a real help group.”

The Leeds United supporter then posted a vulgar DM she received on screen that read: “Can I lick ur m****”.

She first began by making a joke out of the lack of a question mark, saying: “It isn’t the lack of a question mark that is the issue.”

Emma then quipped that the use of the word m**** rather than vagina doesn’t matter with the message “still being inappropriate”.

As she continued to mock her crude followers, Emma delivered a serious message about the way users interact on social media compared to in person.

“Because we don’t send vulgar messages like this to women on the internet, you wouldn’t say it in real life.”

Emma then wrapped up the video saying: “Next week we’re going to discuss why women don’t want to see your penis in their DMs.

“In the meantime, get yourselves outside, touch some grass and stay off your phones.”

Fans lauded her video in the comments section, with one user saying: “You’ve got a great way of doing this.”

A second added: “Hahahah I love these videos so much.” While a third echoed: “A very good sketch indeed!”

Emma previously featured predominantly on the BBC show MOTDx before it was cancelled in October last year.
