Terrifying second two French Air Force jets crash mid-air whereas rehearsing stunt routine

Two Alpha jets from the Patrouille de France have collided mid-air while rehearsing a stunt, it has emerged.

The collision occurred near Saint-Dizier around 3.40pm today during a training drill involving seven Alpha Jets.

Footage of the terrifying incident shows that both pilots and a passenger were forced to eject from the planes. Officials say both jets were destroyed.

Sébastien Lecornu, France’s Minister of the Armed Forces, confirmed the accident in a statement on X.

Emergency services were mobilized, Lecornu said, adding that officials are coordinating with the Ministry of the Interior and the Ministry of the Armed Forces.
