A sick teacher told coppers that she didn’t regret her actions but instead gave a bizarre excuse for allegedly having group sex with teenagers while they wore horror masks
A disgraced teacher who allegedly got three underage boys to “gangbang” her while wearing Scream horror masks is facing a new round of charges that could put her behind bars for life.
Brittany Fortinberry, 31, has been accused of rape, sexual exploitation and plying them with drugs and alcohol. The married mum-of-four is now facing more charges relating to five more alleged victims – bringing the number of accusers up to six.
Prosecutors are preparing to file 24 more felony charges against the former teacher, including five counts of Level 1 child molestation, they told TMZ. These would bring her charges up to 29.
She faces sexual misconduct with a minor, dissemination of matter harmful to minors, and contributing to the delinquency of a minor charges – as well as child molestation.
If she is convicted of the Level 1 molestation charges, she could face between 20 and 40 years behind bars for each count. She will hear the charges on April 3.
If the sentences are served consecutively, she could have a life sentence.
It’s claimed she made victims wear “Scream” masks during an orgy. She also allegedly “dreamed” of having sex with them.
The same boy said that Fortinberry masturbated over his school pictures and sent a video of herself performing a sexual act with his underpants, the Daily Mail reported.
She met her alleged victims at two Morgan County schools last year and told them she would kill herself if they reported the abuse, the charging documents claim.
One victim told police that she’d rape them and say “just let it happen”.
She allegedly showered them with gifts and put drugs in their food, Fox 59 reported.
Nicholas Fortinberry, her husband, is also facing charges of intimidation and failing to report a crime for reportedly knowing about the abuse and threatening victims to keep quiet.
He allegedly even threatened to “slaughter” one of them in front of his family if he spoke out.
One victim told police he was threatened that Nicholas would kill them in front of their family.
Bizarrely, she allegedly blamed the abuse on weight loss, saying she didn’t believe she would have done any of this if she was heavier.
Several more alleged victims spoke out with one saying he came forward as he didn’t want her to “molest more kids.” She resigned from the school the day after the first allegations surfaced.
Fortinberry is being held without bond with a jury trial set for June 25 in Morgan Superior Court. It is unclear if she has entered a plea.
Eminence Community School Corporation said she was suspended pending investigation into the misconduct.
It said she sent in her resignation notice the next morning and her employment with the schools immediately ended.
The corporation said the wellbeing of students is their priority and they will cooperate with law enforcement and the prosecutor’s office.
