A balding teenager with alopecia has won a string of admirers after an ‘amazing’ transformation which has left people in tears.
Reid, 18, has suffered from alopecia since he was 10 after being attacked by a wild dog.
The teenager, who visited expert hair loss barber Rob Wood, owner of Novo Cabelo salons, had a number of large patches on the top and back of his head as well as smaller ones towards the back.
But following his treatment he was left with a new stylish look – and an army of fans – ahead of a night out with his friends at the pub.
The TikTok video, posted by NovoCabeloHair, shows Reid with patches before an incredible transformation which sees him sporting a smart hair cut.
The barber cuts off his unwanted hair before fading the sides and adding a hairpiece.
The clip adds: ‘Reid was attacked by a wild dog when he was 10, which resulted in alopecia just three days later.

‘He’s just turned 18 and wants a banging hairstyle to go to the pub with his mates.’
The Derby County fan looked delighted with his new trim and said: ‘Holy s***’ at his first glance.
His disbelief continued as he stared at the mirror. ‘What? That is mad,’ he added.
TikTok users shared praise for the amazing trim.
One said: ‘This made me cry.’
A second added: ‘Brilliant Reid…. Looks amazing just like you. An amazing fella.’
Another commented: ‘Work of art… looking amazing.’

The video has raked in more than 156,000 likes and almost 1,200 comments.
Mr Wood is known for his use of a hair replacement system, also known as hairpiece, toupee, or wig, which is attached to the scalp with adhesives, clips, or weaving.
Speaking of his story, Mr Wood told MailOnline: ‘It all started 10 years ago. Where one of the girls who worked for me, her brother in law was really struggling with his mental health related to his hair loss.
‘So, I did a bit of YouTubing and research to see what was actually out there, and what we could do and that’s when I found the hair systems.’
After testing the hair system out on his colleague’s brother-in-law. Rob decided to open Novo Cabelo and specialise in treating hair loss for everyone.
He previously said: ‘I don’t ever get tired of it. I just I just find it’s something so simple that can really turn people’s lives around, and the way that they see themselves.’
