EXCLUSIVE: It’s five years since Prince Harry and Meghan Markle stepped down from royal duties and moved across the pond, but an astrologer has delved into what the future could hold for them
Five years ago Prince Harry shocked the world with news that he and his wife Meghan Markle would step away from their royal duties.
But since they left the firm in a move dubbed “Megxit,” there has been much speculation about what the future holds for the Duke and Duchess of Sussex. After moving to California with their children Archie and Lilibet, they caused a stir with their Oprah Winfrey interview, documentaries and Harry’s memoir Spare.
But many often wonder if they will ever return after claims emerged that they are still searching for their “happily ever after” while struggling to “find purpose” in the wealthy coastal city of Montecito.
The Daily Star asked astrologer Inbaal Honigman for her predictions and where she sees the pair further down the line.
Speaking on behalf of Genting Casino, she said: “Looking back at the past five years, Meghan receives the 9 of cups card, also known as the happiness tarot card.
“She has no regrets. She feels that, for better or for worse, the decisions that they made served them well.
“This card says that she feels emotionally much better in the USA than she did in England, and that she feels that their decisions served the family well.”
But what about Harry?
“Harry’s card for the past five years is very different,” Inbaal adds. “It is the Knight of Pentacles card, which speaks of motion and of finances.
“He looks back at the past five years, says the tarot, and he can see the advantages and disadvantages, and although he feels no remorse, he believes that the situation is always reversible.
“Nothing lasts forever, says this tarot card, so Harry would pack up and move again if the situation called for it.”
The family rift first became public in 2020 when they stepped back as senior royals, citing blistering attacks aimed at the duchess and a lack of support from the palace as reasons for the move.
Sources previously told People magazine that it’s Harry’s desperation to protect his wife and their two children that has deepened his estrangement from his father King Charles III.
But Inbaal believes the couple won’t be against moving from California – together or apart – if push comes to shove.
She said: “Their future is represented by the neat and organised six of swords card.
“If they felt that they needed to move, they would. If they felt that they needed to spend a year apart, on different shores, they would.
“This card says that they will move again, but it would have to be under very specific circumstances, and it might be just one of them at first.
“It’s an interesting tarot card as it indicates beliefs, when they believe that the moment is right, they’ll be embarking on that plane.
“As this card bears the number six, then this could indicate six years from now, eleven years after they have left.”
