The randy pair were caught getting it on in a graveyard and subsequently arrested by police who spotted them, with the man being taken to hospital for ‘injuries’
A ‘dead sexy’ couple were arrested after being caught getting it on in an historic cemetery – on top of a gravestone. Joseph Brown, 38, and Stephanie Wegman, 46, had sex on an “unknown grave” at the Wild Cow Prairie Cemetery in Bushnell, Florida, which dates back to 1850.
They were caught when a cop found a white Nissan – registered to Wegman and her husband Anthony Johnson – parked in front of the graveyard’s locked gates “with the windows down and no one in the immediate area”.
When the officer went to investigate, they came across “a white male and female… engaged in sexual activity on top of unknown grave #43”, a police report states.
The randy couple, who live in separate houses in Webster, Florida, were busted at around 4.15pm on March 27 after a police officer pulled in to the graveyard to allow their police dog to take a break. They were also found to have drugs in the car when police searched it after breaking up their romp.
A Florida Highway Patrol report states methamphetamine was found on the passenger seat, while Wegman’s purse were “two prescription bottles with the labels missing” that contained Xanax and Oxycodone.
Wegman was arrested on multiple drug charges and booked into the county jail, where she is being held without bond.
Brown was taken to a local hospital due to a “pre-existing injury” to his leg, police said. The troopers report added: “A warrant will be sought for Mr. Brown.” But it was not specified what charges he will face.
Wegman was arrested last September for possession of meth, marijuana, and fentanyl, the report added. And last month, she was busted for possession of drug paraphernalia.
Brown has an extensive criminal history with convictions for burglary, grand larceny, battery, domestic violence, larceny, reckless driving, meth possession, DUI and possession of drug paraphernalia.
In 2019, a Florida judge described Brown as a “habitual felony offender”. Brown, who has served several prison stretches, was last released from state custody in May 2024.
He is reportedly living in a mobile home purchased last year by his parents. The Sumter County cemetery has several dozen marked and unmarked graves dating back to 1850.
The last burial at the semi-rural cemetery was in 1924 and the graveyard was added to the National Register of Historic Places in 2021.
