The orange manbaby’s ego was on full display at the National Republican Congressional Committee’s donor event on Tuesday night as he boasted that countries are queuing up to make deals with him.

Donald Trump claimed that the current “tariff situation” is both good and the stuff of legends. The White House doubled down, confirming Trump believes tariffs are negotiating tools for new trade agreements.

Trump, 78, boasted: “These countries are calling me up, kissing my a**…they are dying to make a deal… They are, they are dying to make a deal. Please, please, sir, make a deal. I’ll do anything.

“And then I’ll see some rebel Republican – some guy that wants to grandstand and say ‘I think that Congress should take over negotiations.’ Let me tell you, you don’t negotiate like I negotiate.”

The President’s spokesperson, Karoline Leavitt, hinted at a green light for other countries itching to hammer out tariff talks with Trump, announcing, “Bring us your best offers and he will listen.”

Trump faced a telling-off from his side of the aisle over his tariffs on China, but the President isn’t backing down. He is claiming the hefty charges are payback for all the years China has “ripped us off left and right,” stating now’s the time for America to do “the rippin’.”

Despite criticism, Trump owned up that slamming a whopping 104% tariffs might “sound ridiculous”, but pointed out China previously slapped the US with sky-high tariffs too.

He confidently spouted the supposed benefits of fresh tariffs, proclaiming: “China will now pay a big number to our treasury. This is all taxes.”

Critics were quick to correct Trump on social media.

One person wrote on X: “No, seriously , how is there no one to tell him this isn’t how it works at all. He keeps repeating the same incorrect thing and it’s absolutely maddening.”

Another chipped in: “How can Republican Congressman sit there and know he is lying straight to their faces and be okay with that while markets are crashing and their constituents are in danger of losing their jobs due to a recession caused by this liar. China will pay $0 of the tariffs. Zero.”

Several economists and authorities have stepped up to slam Trump’s latest financial offensive against China. Even his billionaire supporter Bill Ackman has sounded alarms, cautioning that businesses could “grind to a halt” in a scenario he describes as an “economic nuclear war” should Trump persist with his tariff strategy.
