BREAKING Major airport evacuated as ‘precautionary measure’ as lots of compelled to evacuate

Dublin Airport’s Terminal 2 has been evacuated, with large crowds of passengers ordered to evacuate the building just before 12pm.

A spokesperson for Dublin Airport operator daa told Dublin Live that the terminal has been evacuated as a “precautionary measure” and asked passengers to follow instructions of airport staff.

The spokesperson said: “Dublin Airport can confirm that Terminal 2 has been evacuated as a precautionary measure. The safety and security of our passengers and staff is our absolute priority.

“Passengers are being directed to designated assembly points and we ask everyone to follow the instructions of airport staff. Flight operations may be temporarily impacted, and we advise passengers to check with their airline for the latest updates.

“We will provide further information as soon as it becomes available. We thank passengers for their patience and cooperation.”

According to the Irish Independent, Ireland’s Defence Forces have reportedly been asked to send the bomb disposal squad to the airport if they are required to.
