A murder investigation has been launched by detectives after a man died from apparent stab wounds on Saturday.
Police arrested a woman, 45, in connection with the incident after the male victim was found at a property in Chatham, Kent.
The emergency services were called to the scene at 10.12am on Saturday morning after receiving reports of an assault.
Kent Police said that officers found a man in his 40s suffering from injuries ‘consistent with stab wounds’ at the home on Castle Road.
The man died while being treated by paramedics at the scene, the force said.
The 45-year-old woman remains in police custody, it added.

‘Investigators are appealing to any witnesses who have not yet spoken to the police to contact them.
