A UK rapper brought chaos to one of the Peak District’s busiest tourist routes whilst shooting a music video – forcing police to intervene. London-born artist Tion Wayne, famous for his chart-topping number one smash ‘Body’ with Russ Millions, was spotted causing disruption at Winnats Pass last month during filming for his latest track, ‘Streets a Lie’.

The 32 year old performer, who also goes by T Wizzy, boasted that he “locked off the Peak District until the Feds came,” sharing TikTok clips of himself performing in front of a lavish £300,000 Rolls-Royce Cullinan. Drone footage at the conclusion of one clip captures the moment officers arrived on scene.

The scenic route, hailed as “one of the prettiest” drives across Britain, links Castleton to Chapel en le Frith whilst weaving through spectacular limestone formations – making it a magnet for visitors just like Tion.

Derbyshire police have since released a statement confirming they responded to the incident last month. A force spokesperson revealed: “We received a report on Sunday, October 19, just after 5.25pm about cars blocking off Winnats Pass, Castleton.

“Officers attended and the road was cleared.”, reports Derbyshire Live.

The rapper, sporting a diamond-encrusted chain with the number nine, shared a series of videos from his Derbyshire trip, one of which has racked up over 5 million views since its upload on Sunday (November 2).

In another video posted on Monday evening (November 3), he is seen mingling with fans in the Speedwell Cavern car park.

As the camera sweeps across the scene, among the vehicles, a vibrant orange Lamborghini Urus and a flat-bed tow truck are visible, the latter presumably for the Rolls-Royce. Queuing traffic also features in the video, though it’s uncertain whether this was due to the rapper’s entourage.

Wayne shot to stardom in 2019 with the release of ‘Keisha and Becky’, a collaboration with fellow rapper Russ Millions. The track climbed to number seven on the UK charts, becoming a hit.

His winning streak continued into the following year with ‘I Dunno’, a joint effort with Stormzy and Dutchavelli, which also secured the seventh spot on the UK charts.
