England squad introduced as enormous Jude Bellingham choice made by Thomas Tuchel

Thomas Tuchel has named his latest England squad for the November international break.

Tuchel’s biggest decision has seen him recall Real Madrid star Jude Bellingham back to the squad after the midfielder was left out of the October squad, sparking major concerns about Bellingham’s role in the England squad under Tuchel.

But Bellingham will return to Three Lions action after proving his fitness by returning to the Real Madrid starting line-up. Manchester City’s Phil Foden also returns to the squad.

There are also places for Reece James, Nico O’Reilly and Adam Wharton. Bournemouth midfielder Alex Scott receives his first call-up.

The 22-year-old missed the start of the season after undergoing surgery on a long-term shoulder problem, but he has started Los Blancos’ last five games, scoring three times and assisting once.

The Three Lions have already secured qualification to the 2026 World Cup with top spot in Group K confirmed in the 5-0 win over Latvia last month.

England take on Serbia at Wembley on Thursday before rounding off the group stage against Albania the following Sunday (November 16).

Tuchel appeared to dig out at Bellingham and Foden following the recent win over Serbia, saying: “Don’t you think that behaviour on the bench, support from the bench, support from training, the competition, the togetherness enables the 11 to play like they played?

“I strongly believe that. I felt it in Belgrade, behind me on the bench. It’s not against Phil, it’s not against Jack, it’s not against Jude. Even if you can turn it around and say it is, it is not. It is for the guys who were in camp and who performed at this kind of level.”
